My Japanese Lady of the Koi  Fish. I think old Japanese prints are beautiful, so I created my own. I looked up the calligraphy and with a steady hand holding a brushed wrote it onto the paper. The characters talk about how the water flows so easily and how we can have an easier time if we just go with the flow, basically. The butterflies symbolize messengers who give the wisdom of the waters.

I am very satisfied with how this picture came out. I am doing a series of these right now so as I complete them I will be posting them.
